What makes Amelia Island so special? Some say it's our wide open and uncrowded beaches, small town feel, victorian homes, history that dates back over 3000 years, birding and wildlife sightings, activities and events, or simply a great place to relax and unwind. What will be your reason?

Most people who come to Amelia Island on their first visit wonder why they have never heard about this place and why it isn't overrun with high rises and heavy traffic like south Florida. Shhh! Let's keep it our little secret. From wide open beaches, to an historic downtown, to wildlife and local characters all over the place, Michael photographs his surroundings through the eyes of an artist.

Michael has been a photographer since he was 10 years old. He and his wife, artist Carol Beck, have lived on Amelia Island since 2004. For many years Michael has been helping photographers begin "seeing" their surroundings in new and creative ways in his workshops.
